Honda 2200 series generator about $1000.00 vrs running a $75000.00 truck for the same power. My choice would be a Honda generator.
I have a 4000w Onan genset in my Toy Hauler, but I also have a second AC unit in the bedroom that runs off its own 20amp circuit. So I bought this 3800w portable generator and its been amazing. Its super quiet for its size. Price is not bad @ $659 either. I almost exclusively boondock...but when we aren't we're usually on mains anyways.
I went with a Champion Dual Fuel 3400 just so I could use it with propane right out of the box without having to buy a conversion kit. I have been very happy with it so far. The Predator Inverter generators are pretty popular and seem to have a pretty good standing too. If I didn't need it to be propane ready right out of the box when I bought mine I would have went with the Predator. I would suggest an inverter generator though over the open generators... Your neighbors will like you more, and your appliances inside your camper will love you more too...
I run a champion 4650 that is a remote start, very nice and can run both A/C. I will run all night on one a/c in 100 deg outside temps on one tank of fuel.
My experience with power generation says get a good generator. The truck does not have it in it to do the job without serious and expensive modifications. A couple of Power tools or charge packs yes, but a trailer nope.

My Honda 2000 runs my ac with soft starter and the rest of the camper just fine. Only have to turn ac off to use coffee pot or microwave. I wouldn't want a bigger one because it is so easy to move around.
Put soft start on the AC units too, the most amps used are when they are starting up, but when running only need 1500 watts. I use an older Champion 3500 gas only, nice, quiet unit, can run both AC units off it using soft starts. I also use a Watchdog to prevent low voltage and over voltage.
