Has anyone seen any of these radiators for sale that are not $700 and up. I have been searching everything that pops up on the computer, but no luck yet. The copper radiators are $700-1000 that I have seen. The only real in stock radiator that I have seen is a plastic/aluminum one. I used to say a Hard No on those but it seams a lot of trucks have radiators just like that these days. Im pretty sure the powerstrokes have radiators like that as well. I was just looking at 2006 powerstroke radiators by motorcraft for half the price of my 72. Too bad the upper hose is on the wrong side or I would have to check out the dimensions. Are there any alternatives that will fit that anyone has tried with success. I am needing a 3 row with the 24x26 core. I was in no hurry before but now its getting closer. I have a little bit of valve work on the heads and then the motor will be ready to run. Welp, thanks for reading my whine session.
I searched the link and there is none. They only show the smaller radiators. Last time I talked to them on the phone, they didnt know if or when they would get any.
I ran the original style of radiator because finding something to fit the original hole was challenging.
I would just buy the non-supercooling and see how it does and hope the supply of auto parts get better later if you need the supercooling. I personally doubt you will.
Manufacturing capabilities has made newer aluminum radiators much better than copper radiators.
