I vote for the Nitto Terra Grapplers as well. Been running them since 2008. Wouldn't run with any other tire.
Back in 08' my tire guy said they were getting very popular and were known for their ability to balance well.
Never had a flat or blow out and rarely ever lost air pressure. I think their noise level is below or on par with their competitors.
Being in New England, I've been very happy with their excellent rain and snow performance.
Didnt know of these previously. Are you running them?
Yes, there's a few guys on here but not many. One guy has them on a dually. I love them all around, I live in the northeast and plow too. Great tire so far at 20k roughly. I was having some wear issues, I got centramatics and started being good about rotating them and they are smooth as glass now.
Tires are a personal choice.
My first choice is Toyo Open Country M/T 295/70/18’s. But due to them being unavailable and too expensive if they were, my choice is General Grabber X3 295/70/18’s instead.
I think I’m gonna stick with the grapplers. They are the most expensive option but seems a couple of you haven’t had the best luck with Cooper. And I just can’t get behind an off brand tire. Also wanting the aggressive look.
Interesting perspective. I would consider Nitto easily as "off brand" as Cooper myself...Never owned Nitto's, owned some Coopers, wouldn't go back. Good Year Duratracs on the truck (noisy), BFG KO2 on the Jeep. Both fitted for superior performance not a look.
Anyone using the Falken Wildpeak AT3W? Seen good reviews on the 150s, but not much on the SD.
I have been running them on my RAM, and will be going on my SD when it arrives. They wear well, keep them rotated. They are quiet and have great traction.
I'm looking at Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Where can look for the best price? I guess online but then I have to get them mounted/balanced somewhere and where to do that cheap?

are they pretty good in Snow? I’ve heard good things about these… whenever I get a truck I am considering them
Travisb I stayed with the stock size basically... 33"
Are you running the Nitto Terra Grapper G2's or the Ridge Grappler?
Currently i am running Ridge Grappers on my F350, but I just upgraded to a 5th Wheel and don't know if I should stick with the ridge grapplers or move to the Terra Grapplers when I switch these out.

I haven't run the Tera Grapplers but I do have Ridge Grapplers and the new Recon Grapplers. The Ridge Grapplers are quiet on my Jeep in a 38-13.50R-20 with 20,000 miles on them. My new Recon grapplers are totally quiet at about 2000 miles on my F250. I have seen some Ridge Grapplers in smaller sizes that make a little noise as they get worn down. If they have the new Recon Grapplers in the size that you need get them. The Recon Grappler also has a higher mileage warranty at 55,000 miles. The Recon Grappler tread pattern is like the Ridge Grappler with smaller gaps in the tread. I have run lots of tires, (Toyo, Firestone, Goodyear, Michelin, Continental, Yokohama, and NITTO). NITTO has my vote! There are pictures of my NITTO's earlier in this thread.
