SPE internal catch can

What are the thoughts on the SPE ccv reroute and the internal catch can? I’m not seeing much as far as reviews.

In my opinion, it's better than the OEM setup since Ford's air/oil seperator is ineffective. I went with a Mishimoto catch can which keeps everything CARB compliant but actually separates oil out of the CCV. The SPE setup works, you may end up with oil drips or smells and technically it's not emissions legal since the CCV is not venting to the atmosphere.

I run it on my 2012. Like it for the fact that all that junk isn't going into the engine. But mine is fairly smoky and is annoying when parked or going through drive thru. Truck has almost 300k on it.

you dont see a lot of wow factor reviews about SPE because they pretty much clobbered their reputation with their customer service or lack there of.

last year during the height of the internet chatter about their customer service they were using an app that was supposed to give you order status updates...but never did. Then if you emailed SPE you were pretty much ignored. Every month they would send a global email that said sorry, we know we are behind on shipping and we know we have been ignoring you....our products are great and worth the wait , etc, etc.

They have a video of moving into a large complex and the video implies that customer service will be better.

Got it! That makes sense from what I’ve seen trying to play catch up and learning.

I bought both the ccv reroute and internal catch can. I’m retro, I should’ve gone with Mishi but from what I’ve read, it does the job.

hoping to get some age to this thing without spending a fortune with fixes. I had my upper pan replaced when I bought it a year ago and they put the better ccv filter on it but it looks like it’s leaking again.

Honestly, purchased an option on flea bay for the reroute assembly and added the SPE catch can later (prior to their shipping challenges). I've also added an extension of the CCV reroute hose, to end towards end of fuel tank along the frame (F350 CC SRW LB). This is to offset vapor scent, when wind is right at the drive-thru. Appreciate fact of air intake is a bit cleaner/drier without the oil mist/saturated inject.
