Lift kit help

Hello, I'm new here and have some questions about my X. I previously had an X with over 9in of lift on it when I bought it and although it was beautiful... I got 4mpg lol, so I sold it. I decided to buy a stock X abs b lift it a bit myself. I bought a 3.5in front/ 3in rear lift unknowingly for a F250/350. The company told me it would still work I would just need to get the correct shocks for the X. Many people have told me my overall height will be 2" higher than if I were to get a 3in X lift. So my question is does anyone have any idea what size shocks lol. The company has a 0-3in lift shock, and 4", 6", 8" lift size shocks. I am a woman, and not mechanically inclined in anyway🤣 so please help. For reference I have an 03 limited excursion V10. Thank you.

Details about the kits would help, without that its just a wild guess. But usually the f250 springs add about 2" extra. With the actually details on the springs we can give you your ride height of the shocks.

This is the description :
  • FRONT: 3.5" Adjustable Lift Powder Coated Mini Leaf Spring Packs, (4) U-bolts, Pan-Arm Bar Drop / Track Bar Spacers, Hardware Included
  • REAR: 3" Lift Fabricated Steel Powder Coated Angled Blocks, (4) U-bolts, Hardware Included
What else would you need to know about it? Thank you

So with this kit you can run stock excursion shocks up front since this won't change the mounting point for the shocks. You can measure what you have now, will be around 18.5" center of eyelet to eyelet (use this measurement to target the center of a shocks travel range). Or you can just keep the shocks you have now up front and they will work fine.

For the rears you will adding 3" so shock resting will be about 24", which you use again to find the middle of the shocks travel. I wouldn't go by advertised lift because those are usually off. If you have a brand of shocks you would like them we could help recommend which would fit.

As far as your lift, you will be 3.5" higher in the front since you are adding a mini leaf pack and 3" higher in the back since you are adding a block. A note is that you will be adding a block to the block that is already there, not replacing block (with this kit).

Thank you!!!! Is it safe to add a block to the existing block? Also with it being a f250 lift and not an excursion will the lift height be higher? The lift is made by WULF. It was giving to me. I know there are better ones out there lol. WULF has their brand and also pro comp and I believe skyjacker shocks.

Also currently my front sits at 23.5 inches and rear is 24.5ish inches. My shocks are original and beat.

You lift will be as stated 3.5 inches front and 3 inches back from where your are currently sitting, so 27" front 27.5" rear. I personally would go with bilstein shocks, these will work for front and back and will give you part numbers to shop around https://www.bilsteinlifts.com/shop/f...excursion-4wd/

If you want to go skyjackers you can go https://www.bilsteinlifts.com/shop/f...jacker-shocks/ or for alittle more https://www.bilsteinlifts.com/shop/f...ck-max-shocks/ i havent ran skyjackers but know they come with the rear top pin out. Its kinda a pain to install but a vice will make life easier.

i dont see pro comp having any shocks for the rear with the pin. Whats listed on there site anyways.
