As far as what, off road, street, snow, mud? To be honest I can not really provide you with a fare and educated answer because I have never used the Taras but what I can tell you is when I returned home from 5 days in Cali. to find 8-10 inch of snow plus added hieght for drifts I was able to get my truck in and out with no problems. Only after I made ruts in the snow did I have to put it in 4wheel to get out of the ruts. I guess it really depens on what you are going to do with the truck and how much road driving you do, these are a high millage tire with great on road and off road handeling. Are the best for off road, no deicated off road tires will do better off road the same is true for highway tires but I think they are one of the best for both applications. That is just my opinion and I have not done extensive testing but i am really happy with these tires.
The Revos are on and looking sweet. As for performance, I can rate them on highway noise and wet traction only, 8 and 9 compared to the OEM crap that came with the truck. Check with me after hunting season for offroad performance. I am still considering a set of Trxus Mud Terrains in 16's for that, if the $ still coming in. Thanks for everyones input.
You can get the regular 4 ply "P"XXX/xx/17's (which come stock) or sometimes you can find a mfg with a 6 ply "Lt"XXX/xx/17's Load Range C tire. My Bfg ATs (265/70R17) are 6 ply Load range C tires.
