Good afternoon,
Over the years I have found answers to questions from FTE, and have always appreciated it. I have two 7.3's, a 97 250 HD and my newest, a 99 350 SD. I got the 99 for more cab room (crew vs. my 97 ext) for my 2 year old and myself. I've always been able to google a question and have been provided a link for FTE that generally had an answer. I'm having a harder time doing that for a new issue.
Details for the 1999 F350 SD:
135,000 original miles. 4WD Auto
Nothing done to the motor. All stock.

My 99 has a knock (click?) that I don't hear at idle, but do as I increase the throttle. It matches the rpm's Seems to be coming from #8 (just a guess). Any advice on searching threads? I hate to make a post for a question that has probably been answered a thousand times, but I need to get this figured out. I bought this truck a couple of days ago. I noticed the mileage is sub-par: 10.6 mpg. I feel like this should be more, so I am starting to wonder if it is the #8 injector, but I'd like to be for sure before I buy new injectors.

Thank you in advance for your time.
