So, I know there are intakes are all over the place and I have ordered the S&B oiled cold air intake for my truck. But when I was installing the S&S diesel disaster prevention kit. I noticed the factory turbo inlet piping is a big monstrosity of junk. I can’t find anywhere to replace the turbo inlet piping that has the silencer box and all that crap. Is there anybody that makes a turbo inlet pipe to cold air pipe?

Running a 0HP tune with the H&S setup vs factory plumbing, i saw a bump of 21HP and 59FT/LB. 402HP to 423HP with the only difference being the piping kit.
Also, increased throttle response, lower EGT’s and a couple PSI on the top end picked up.

Only difference? So you measured after deleting the EGR and DPF and before installing the piping kit? Have you measured while pulling a heavy trailer on a hot day where the intake is sucking 150 degree air from under the hood?

I think some people see this as "ghetto bling" and is simply bolted on and left that way............ (they just don't get it lol) Nice set up btw.
