2010 3.5 vin C engine

2010 3.5 vin C engine
My son in laws 3.5 edge just quit on him last week while driving.
Getting codes
P0012 camshaft position over retarded bank 1
P0022 camshaft position over retarded bank2
P0345 camshaft position sensor “A” bank 2
p0340 Cps circuit malfunction
After checking the codes I checked the oil and it had a bunch of water so figured the water pump issue is what is causing all this?? Correct? Any way I drained the oil and water out removed filter and let drain over night. Next day I filled with new oil and filter and turned it over til I saw oil pumping into head threw oil fill. Drained it again and installed new filter and oil. Drains the radiator so no more coolant to enter oil . I then cleared the codes with hope it would at least fire up and run before attempting to spend the money on the water pump and timing components. It just turns over. Not even trying to start. Looking for help to see if what I did would even work?? What would be my next steps?? Just trying to help my son in law out as this is his get to work vehicle. Thanks for any help!!!!!’
