When you replace your wiring, how do you keep your original instrument panel light sockets, turn signal sockets etc. Are there new wires that will slide into the sockets with bulb contacts? Thanks..Tommy..55 F100
There are wire repair kits available that will do the job. I'm not saying this particular one is what you need, it's just an example, you'll need to do your own research for the correct size.
Is it your intent to do a complete stock OEM restoration? If not, you may want to replace the OEM bulbs/sockets with some nice LED lights.
I did that but I’m still not happy with the lack of brightness. I’m trying to figure out a way to add some additional LEDs so I can see the gauges at night.

Just new wiring, not OEM..That is an option. Thanks CharlieLED...Tommy

LEDs are available in a myriad of intensity levels and color temperatures...additional LEDs should not be necessary if you find the correct one for your application.

I am still 6 volt, so that might be a problem in any case. Thanks..Tommy
