I just installed my rebuilt diff and when I drove it forward it sounded like the brake on the right side was dragging. Sounded almost like a creeking sound. Drove it up and down the drive and when I turn it makes the noise but it is getting quieter.

I take it this is the posi? I know lockers make noise but I figure this is suppose to be normal.
