I have looked all over online and have found many e4ta-7505- FB but none of the exact part number that I need, does anybody know where to the the bell housing. That goes between the 300 inline 6 and the np435 (I have a 1986)

I believe any of the hydraulic small block bell housings for the NP435 or T18 will work.
I know on the linkage clutch the bell housings inter change as I have done it.
How dose the slave work on yours, bracket bolted to the outside or ?

I dont rememebr if the SROD / TOD use a removable bell?

Yes they do. Only the truck 5 speeds have the integral bellhousing

Well that should open a whole bunch of trucks to look for that bell housing as long as the slave works the same way.
So thinking any hydraulic housing from a 300 / 302 / 351 would work right?

I think the main difference is external slave or internal concentric slave cylinder. I am pretty sure the 460's and the diesels had external slaves. Not sure about the 300,302,351w trucks.

Yea it has an external cylinder but inside there’s a ball that the slave cylinder rod thing rests on and on other bell housings that ball is not there, Instead there is more of an indent next to the slave cylinder entry point and most of the other slave cylinder entry points on the bell housings other than the e4ta-7505-da Are turned the other way

Not sure what to make of the numbers below versus the applications.

I wonder if you had 1 type what it would take to use / swap to the other type?
I would think as long as you had the fork that goes with the bell then just get the right slave to work with the bell.

The external slave bells usually have a casting for the slave to clip on or mount in some way. The concentric slave bells don't have anything to mount the slave to, and do not have anything to put a arm on. The concentric slave is a throwout bearing with a hydraulic pancake cylinder mounted to it all in one piece. The cylinder looks like a donut and pushes directly on the throwout bearing. All you have coming out of the side of the bell is the hydraulic line and sometimes a bleeder line.

I know that but good to point it out to people that may not know that.

What I was saying what if you had an external slave bell that is broken like the OP could he swap to the concentric slave throw out bearing bell housing?
So he would keep his master but switch the bell housing to concentric slave throw out bearing would that maybe work?
