Frame Steel Type
Does anyone know what kind of steel a 1987-1992 F-350 frame uses? I know that it's 1/4" thick, but uncertain what specifics (hot rolled, cold rolled, etc).

It's mild steel and is weldable. It is not high strength steel. Not sure about hot or cold rolled.
