Out of those ten wheels, were there four innies? If I had those I might go back to 15's with bottle caps on my 65. I am in San Diego so shipping is not an issue.
just checked and all my 15-inch wheels are outies.
It took me a few months to locate this set and I'd looked at multiple others first. The issue is there are many earlier wheels that appear similar but are actually 4 or 4.5 inches wide, but these correct '66 optional wheels are 5-inches wide. Plus there are innie and outie hubcap styles so it takes some work to find an entire matching set.
Edit: I definitely found individual wheels, and the set I bought, was much lower than $400/wheel. I'd expect to pay $200-$250/wheel depending on condition.
I have five of the 16 x 5 wheels. I may sell them.
They are the second choice for the build that I’m working on right now. If I find the last wheel to match the three that I do want for my build, I will sell these five.
I still have the wheels I removed from my 64. They are the steel with retaining rings. If anyone is interested, they (5) are in central Florida for the taking.
Would you sell these wheels? Or would you sell one of them?
Photos of my wheel.
Eric.
Hi Eric,
Would you sell these wheels? Or would you sell one of them? I need 1 for my 1969 F100 4x4 short bed flare side, but I'd buy the all 4 if necessary.
Mine came with 16" steel wheels but someone replaced 1 of them along the way with an earlier "outie" rim and I'd like to get them all matching as I fix this truck up
