Quick Connect Coolant Hoses

Morning all. Member of the Classic, Antique section of this forum but venturing over to this side for some insight.

I have been working on my neighbors 2014 F250 with the 6.7. Replaced the radiator, as it was leaking from the core. No other leaks before hand that I could see. Got the radiator back in and everything was good. Waiting for everything to get up to temp (which took FOREVER) so I decided to take it down the road just in the neighborhood to help heat it up and burp anything in the system. Once I got back, the upper radiator hose is leaking at the quick connect fitting. This wasnt leaking before the radiator replacement. I've heard horror stories on the new fords with these quick connects.

Is the only option to replace this hose? Im thinking it may not fit the new (Ford dealer part) radiator perfectly and started to leak. Truck has 215,xxx miles on it so I believe it to be original hoses. Any help here would be appreciated. Didnt know if an o-ring could be replaced or something or is the hose just simply HAS to be replaced.

I believe those connectors are o-ring lined and once they are disturbed (after many, many heat cycles) they will never seal. I'd replace both the upper and lower hoses with the new radiator install, especially due to the mileage.
