351 Cleveland engine mount dimensions
I need the measurement from each engine mount on the block to the crossmember, measured at 90 degrees from the mount.
Also can anyone confirm I need level the thermostat housing section of the block to the crossmember and then wether or not I need to cant the engine back at all? Or is the aim to have the carb level front to back?
The mounts I have in now have the engine sloping way back.. I think the crossmember for the trans is wrong (I'm using a C4) and the mounts are too high as well. I'm using the later consumable mounts with the single pin, not the earlier side bolt ones.
Now down under I think the 351C was offered in the Aussi trucks but I dont know if the measurements would help or not depending on left or right hand drive?
Now if you have a 351W that would be the same as the 302 and could use that measurements.
Also the 351M / 400 was offered in your truck so that measurement could be had also.
Good luck

I'm in Australia so it might be possible later
What about the front of the block to the core support? Surely that would be the same?
Also, they never fixed the LHD to RHD alignment. Which means our steering rack is on the side of the engine with less space

Anyone with experience on mounting engines know if I set it more central would that cause any issues? If I could get one more inch that could help the headers alot. It seems the tunnel is fine with that sort of shift.
