Someone selling AFR 1381 195cc heads locally brand new , been checked over, valves clearanced for boost and Lunati springs and retainers fitted for Lunati solid rollers then put back in box. Also Lunati solid rollers and timing set for $3000 Aussie. Very good buy but will it suit my rather stock 351?

Well a AFR 195 is a lot of head for a 351w unless you are going to be spinning it up to around 6000 Rpm's. But I have read a 185 works pretty good. So make your own decision. Another thing you need to look at is the intake valve size (2.05" Intake valve) and the fact it has a Raised exhaust port by a 1/8". And you can get them in both a 58cc & 72cc chamber so you would need to check on that as well.
You usually have to notch the pistons with a 2.02" valve let alone a 2.05" valve. And the 195cc intake runner is probable going to hurt throttle response at lower Rpm's. IMO that head would be better off suited on a 408w.
Hard to say, I know 302/351w love the Renegade 165cc heads and I know many people running strokers that use the Renegade 185cc heads. I do know how ever that the Renegade 165cc heads are the ones you need if you have valve reliefs as the valves will clear but the larger heads you will have to verify valve reliefs are big enough or flycut the pistons for clearance.
Thanks for the replys, the motor has aftermarket pistons which I think are speed pro hypers with 12cc valve reliefs which I would hope would clear but I will have to check with the engine builder.
I checked the flow rates between the 185s and 195s and there's not much difference. The 195s seem to fall in an odd spot with a lot of strokers seem to go with 205s or 225s.
