I have a 1999 Ford Ranger four-wheel drive XLT. I am looking to swap the front bucket seats. One is crooked and very uncomfortable what other seats will work in this truck? Another question is if I want to do a solid axle front swap what should I look for?
Seats: Ranger/B series Mazda are he best bolt in bets. Explorer/Mountaineer from the same years are a maybe.
Just about anything can be made to "fit" as it's mostly the mounting surfaces that vary. Shim and spacer and longer bolts can overcome minor differences.
