I am the proudest Dad around! My son, a Freshman, just helped his school, Richland High School, North Richland Hills, TX, win the 4A State Marching Band Championship!
They competed against 56 other bands in San Antonio, TX. All the long hours and days of practice really paid off. The marching band puts in more and longer practice hours than any other group in the school including the football team!
I count my blessings every day for the family I have.
James

I was in a Texas High School Marching Band, Deer Park Tx to be more specific....umm...yeah...we put in more hours marching then we actually attended school, and our funding was more than the football teams. But it was fun, and good on him...it ain't easy and the UIL can be hard to get straight I's
YEah, same place, around stinkadena...I had forgotten how bad that place smells, oh well I stilll drive through Monroe and Shreveport Lousiana from time to time, hey are ALMOST as bad.
