Looking at aluminum Cold Case Radiator for my 54 F100 with a 351M motor, no A/C. Model # FOT 575A has 2 cores. It is
China made but looks to be one of the better ones. Was looking at Champion American Eagle which is USA made but factory has none in stock and customer service stated it is unknown when available. Have looked on line at other radiators.in the price range of $300-$500. Summit has this one at $397.00. interested what you guy's have experience with, good and bad. Thanks in advance.
A timely post. I'm needing to replace the radiator in my 75 Dodge truck. I would like to keep the original looking radiator and not have to have the plastic tanks. I was actually looking at radiators through Amazon last night and there were tons of aluminum radiator options. I think one of the names might have been Cold Case. They were all very similar and all in the $250 range (for my application). It seems like the same radiator through Summit or Speedway was approx $300-$350
I bought a cold case couple years ago with the shroud and fan. Install was easy and so far no overheating issues. The aluminum radiator I had before had started leaking at tank weld. I had to cut the rad support to fit it in. I replaced the radiator support when I installed the Cold Case. I also bought mine through Summit, they were about the cheapest place I found. It also helps that I use the Summit card and get 0% for 6 months. It makes my wife have warm fuzzy feeling about me ordering parts. LOL
Always buy them off Ebay-- Aluminum -3 row with shroud and Electric fan-- CHAMPION or RADIATOR 4 LESS never any problems always 302 or 351W engine and AC--
I bought a Cold Case setup for my truck. They have a Lifetime warranty for the original purchaser. After searching for Radiators, I really wanted to buy American made but due to availability and time to get one, I went with the Cold Case. They make one specially for the Coyote Swap. I also looked at Fat Fender Garage radiator but would have to modify the Hood Lock panel and didn't really want to do that..
