Stopped by my local Ford dealer yesterday to look at a truck that's the same color as the one I have on order (first time I've seen Stone Gray in person). Super Duty markups were 18,000 to 30,000; yes, up to a 30k "market adjustment". Several of the trucks in stock (F250s & F350, all SRW and none above a value package Lariat) were at or over 100k by the time the markup was added.
Are they actually selling trucks at these prices? At first I was surprised to see 7 new Super Duty's on the lot but I guess the market adjustment explains why they have stock on hand.
Wow! $30k markup is insane! I think you're right. With that kind of markup, that is probably the only reason they have any stock. Someone would have to be either extremely desperate and/or wealthy in order to spend that kind of money on a truck like that. With the orders cut off in 3 days, I wonder how much worse it will get.
One local ford dealer is asking $10k over MSRP on super duties. I'd never pay it. I'll find a dealer who will honor the xplan or will do below invoice. They're out there. I have one I know who did for someone a couple of months ago and that will be my first stop. And if not them then i'm willing to fly to any dealer in the country with the most off below invoice.

Same here. My current dealer I have been doing business with since they took over in 2003. In the past they always got me invoice pricing. In today's market I know it would be MSRP, but if they don't take the X plan PIN and $500 farm bureau credits, well I don't really need the truck, I can make do with the two I have, but it would also be the last time I step into their place of business. 19 years of loyal customer, they can keep it and make a little money off one sale and much more off the service like in the past, or make NO money at all and lose the rest of the service they would have otherwise.
When I bought my '22 SD KR back in December, the dealer said there was a 5K "Market adjustment". So I said that is a deal breaker for me. If they won't take it off, tell me and save us both the time. They immediately took it off and I bought the truck. This is in the Houston area
My closest dealer, the one I only use for service and have never bought from, had a '22 F350 KR with Tremor for $15k over sticker. But it still sold quickly.
The closest dealer to me is selling orders at MSRP and has mark ups on SD's on the lot only, 1-2k. Every other dealer in the area was a 10-15k mark up and even had mark ups on orders. I went with Granger at 2% under invoice back on December 6th, 2021. My wife has the trip to pick it up already planned out and is more anxious than I am for the trip back...
