So, last summer I had the wheels blasted (to remove clear coat), then sanded and polished. I knew I was going to have to do something this spring after a winter of corrosive road deicer.
Got some polish from the wheel polisher guy, and a cheapy pad from Harbor Freight for the random orbital. Took each wheel off and put on a moving dolly to facilitate spinning.
About 15 minutes per wheel. Waited longer for paint to dry on rear axles than polishing.
