Centramatics are installed

Haven't driven on them yet. I did take all the wheel weights off as the most on one wheel totaled 4.75oz. I heard they are good up to 6oz.

Never had these on a truck before but like the idea of self balancing wheels. Are these working kind of like spacers that will end up pushing the wheel outwards slightly?

I have them on my 450. I got used to the sound. Made a huge difference at higher speeds.

I have these between my DRW wheels. They work fine. I didn't remove the weights from Discount tire. Discount tire did put the outer wheel on so that it doesn't line up where I can reach the chuck to check the air on my inner wheel. Luckily, it only lost 5 lbs on that inside wheel during our 3 month, 11,000+ mile trip around the country with our truck camper on. But damn, people that do tires for a living ought to know what to do.

I came here exactly for what you posted. I have factory 18in steel wheels on my Lariat with 35in ATs. I was curious how these Centramatics would look under a steel wheel and now I don't have to wonder. I like it, thanks for sharing.

What kind do you need for a dually front and back? I assume the style is different.

Someone hammered weights onto my shiny dually rims and I am going to tell them to leave them as is and run these front and back when I do my rotation.

Helping people with the visualization. I don’t consider them noticeable… won’t be painting or anything

Email Jerry and tell him what you have and he'll tell you what you need.

Jerry Robertson

Director of Technical Support

Jerry has been with Centramatic since 1998.

I bought them direct from them online.

I agree, you don't see them unless you know what you're looking for and even then it's not apparent.

I put some of these on my F-350 SRW a few months ago and like them. I've got 37's and they're a pain to keep balanced 100% of the time. The centramatics help quite a bit and the sound doesn't really bother me. I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who even knows the sound is there since the wife/kids haven't asked about it.

I also put two coats of matte black on mine before installing them just to make them less noticeable. Jerry recommends using a high temp paint. He's also a great guy to work with. The original order that was shipped to me was the wrong parts, but I had painted them before even trying them on. He didn't even blink an eye, said he didn't care about the paint, and sent me a prepaid return shipping label along with shipping out the correct parts. They also refunded me the difference in cost because the correct parts were cheaper. Good guy, good company.
