I’ve got a 1968 F100. It has power steering but I’m not sure what some of the components are. This truck was inherited from my dad who passed in 2006. I’m trying to get it back good shape as we speak. I’ve installed EFI and some other things. But I’m confused about how the power steering is configured. I recognize the rack and pump and hoses but there’s something that I don’t recognize. I have a leak and I’m trying to determine the leak. Here are pics Rack and hoses here Pump here Underneath my red neck rigged coolant Reservoir is something that looks like something from an a/c It’s clear here
can anyone help me as to what this is and where my leak could be besides hoses maybe

Reason: Not finished
Ive never seen under the hood of a f100 but I wouldnt think it was much different. I havent seen a power steering bracket like that on an old truck and it looks like someone added a power steering cooling fin. Below is the factory set up on my 70 f250. I was just getting to pull the motor out in the pic. As far as the leak, I would clean the area good and look for fresh fluid. Thats what I did when mine was leaking. I had bought a seal kit to reseal my pump. Turned out to just be leaking from the fitting on the back of my pump.
Start as 1Browski suggested and clean up the whole under hood area. By now all the hoses are aged to the point where they are leaking so I would replace all of them. After that then you will be able to locate the rest of the leaks.
