Just wondering... Is there an aftermarket exuaust " Tip" or something I can put on my 19 Diesel to just make it sound cooler. LOL I don't want to mess with the whole system or anything, I'm in CA so a very strict inspection state, but if there was some exjhaust tip that would add a little sound, that would be awesome. THanks!

best bet would be an atlas siren mounted near the back tire....its a 16 ohm loud speaker operating from 140hz to 8000hz. run that to an amp that can take USB sound files. that way you can switch sounds based on mood swings...want to impress your girl friend...use the Porsche sound clip....angry at the sunday driver in front of you...use the train sound clip.

There is no exhaust tip that will change the sound.
MBRP exhaust makes a set of stainless tips that fit over the oem tips, but they don't change the sound, just the looks, I have a set on mine, and I like the way they look.
As to changing sound in a cafilornia legal way, you could delete the resonator, and that should change the sound some.
Scratch that, all such devices are illegal in CA. Go figure. Doesn't surprise me.
The factory diesel exhaust "tips" are functional. they are made that way for a reason. (I think they mix cool air into the exhaust stream) You don't want to mess with that. Any decorative tips you add on should leave that in place, which leaves you a few options for looks, but not much for noise.

Just what I posted above, or the oem chrome tips, which is actually the whole rear section of the exhaust pipe.
But it could be... I have a feeling those things don't come with a vehicle application guide. Pretty sure if you're under a certain IQ, you can put them on whatever you want.
On a somewhat related note, how does one clean or "polish" those diesel exhaust tips? Steel wool? Brillo pads? Wire brush? Curious as I've noticed mine look not a bright as they once were.
