At some point in the 21MY they deleted the light but some still had the wiring and connector on the end. It was just stubbed up and wrapped with tape in the area near the hood hinge. Later (22MY?) the wires were also deleted.

My ‘ 21 F350 has the wiring with the stopper on it. Unfurled the tape & installed a light from a 2019, works perfectly.

I had a couple of these left over from my Jeep. They were too bright to use as interior lights. Perfect for under the hood.
