Stick on keyless entry

I have a 2016 f250 crew cab long bed xlt 6.7

i have enabled the factory remote start and programmed keys etc. I purchased one of the stick on RF keyless entry keypads for the door. I have tried every way I have found online to program this with no success.

turning keys on and off to enter programming mode does nothing when I press the last two buttons on the key pad.

Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated!

Do you know if your truck has remote key entry?......did you cycle the key 7 times and ten on the 8 turn, leave in the on position/....did the door locks cycle?

Your truck, if equiped with RKE, would use Type B for programming.
