Battery saver

I forgot to turn my headlights off today when I got to work and noticed it when I started the truck to leave. Just wondering how long the lights stay on before the computer shuts them down to protect the battery from going dead, is it short enough time to not really do any damage? Truck started fine and after the drive home my volt meter was showing 14 volts with the engine running and 12.7 volts with the engine off, this is on a two month old Odyssey AGM battery.

Should be around 20-30 min. Most all vehicles have this now. Interior lights, headlights/parking lights should shut off automatically. I would say no damage to battery charge at all.
