I've seen it a few times. Pretty sure it's an add-a- leaf deal. Probably should've had three from the factory anyway. Two always seemed inadequate to me.
The numbers are on it are ford. I thought heaviest springs were x codes but they have 2 leafs. Anyone know if the 3 leaf ones add lift?
More than likely someone added a leaf...like I did. The oem Ford numbers still show for the top leaf as usual, but the bottom leaf is what was added and has no numbers on it given it was shop made and installed.
Not sure if ford offered them but aftermarket offers a leaf setup. The springs are rated at 3750 each, so well over what your axle would be rated at. I believe they were for the 450-550 trucks, used with hessvy utility bodies, large plows and such

While they might be available, I wouldn't suggest using them. Anybody that's ever ridden in a 450/550 knows how bad they ride. Especially the older leaf sprung trucks.
We have a 04 F450 flatbed at work. Recently experienced a broken spring up front. Replaced them with aftermarket F250 springs. The truck rides so much nicer. Still has its full load capacity too.
