So my injectors started going out 3 weeks ago. I limped it along for 2 weeks until I could afford new ones(didn’t make it) ended up having to tow it home.
I got new reman injectors and glow plugs in. Got everything installed with fresh oil and fuel filter. It smoked on first start up attempt but no start(expected) have gone through 3 battery charges now and still no start. It cranks and sounds like are a normal startup minus the starting part.I’ve checked all fuses and relays and appears they are all working properly. HPOP is full , no engine lights . I can hear fuel pump running and it does fill the fuel bowl. I’m at a loss here and can’t afford to rent a vehicle so I’m ride hopping and not the best situation. Need to get this beast moving again !
Have you checked high pressure oil pressure? I’m not sure of the number required on a 7.3 but on a 6.0 it won’t fire the injectors until you’ve built at least 500psi.
can easily check that pressure with a scanner. Can be caused by high pressure oil leaks, failing injection pump etc.

I’m trying to get someone here with a scanner to find out . Oil gauge on dash does raise to normal levels when cranking . I know it probably doesn’t show the hpop pressure though
On the scanner, do not rely on basic scanners. The corner part store, cramazon, and fleebay stuff do not work well on our trucks. Get FORScan or FORScan Lite and their recommended OBD II reader. You will save an immense amount of time, money, and headaches by having one.
FORScan Lite works on all reasonably modern smart phones and tablets.

What are these 2 solenoids , the one on left / back is getting hotter than hell? Wondering if it may be my issue
The relay on the left is the glow plug relay. You are moving about 100 amps through that relay when the glow plugs are commanded to be on, it is going to get hot to touch.
