I can tell this will draw criticism, but have your thought about cleaning things up and just replacing the cam and going for it. What have you got to lose? Heck you are replacing everything away anyway.

Bearings and cam and lifters are all replaced as of Wednesday. Roller cam/lifters new custom pushrods installed yesterday, billet end stands just in case
