Just curious my door tag reads different than one I found on the back of the cab when I was sandblasting it. It also looks different with some extra lines and a couple of punch outs. Does anyone know what this is
If your truck is anything like mine, it got a different door at some point. My door tag info doesn't match the original dealer documentation I got with my truck. In my case, the door tag is from a regular cab F150 and I have a Supercab F350.
Not real sure why yours has the extra lines and the punch outs, though. I'm sure there's someone here way more knowledgeable about these things and has seen this before, though.
Not sure what Ford calls those but most call them a buck tag. they were just to identify the parts on the assembly line.
If it doesn't match your door tag as said above your door has probably been swapped. question is does your serial number match the title and is the pickup what the door tag says ?
