Just what it says.. are the tips, magnetic. Im missing one, so as i evacuate oil, and try to figure out if the little sucker is in there, or long gone.... im wondering if a magnet would pull it out, or nope?

If you have 'er open, it won't be hard to pull another GP and check.
If I was in your shoes, I'd get a borescope that will fit through either a glow plug hole or an injector hole and look inside. A little thing like that can be the ruin of your engine. We saw it happen not too long ago with a bolt down a plenum hole. I got one not too long ago that fits through an injector hole but it was over $100.
No, the tips are not ferrous (magnetic). The heating element inside is so there is a weak magnetic attraction so long as the glow plug is intact. The bodies and tops are very magnetic.
Yeah. I worked on some parts cleaning, etc while i stewed in frustration... but ima go out and get a borescope, and a vac pump.... i had planned to just turn the engine over the clear the fluids... cant do that now, at least until i visually clear number 6.

Make sure you get a scope that will fit through a hole there. I think mine is 5mm, maybe 5.5. I do not know the size of the holes but have heard that not all scopes will fit through. Good luck and update what you find.
