‘14 250 Mirror Blinker Fail
Morning All,
The blinker light in my passenger-side mirror quit working. It was intermittent and then it quit permanently. Bulb is fine as the light does work when plugged into the driver’s side mirror. The timing of how it failed makes me think I may have broken a wire where the mirror folds. Has anyone had this happen with the SDs? Has anyone opened up the mirror to the point they can tell me if there is access to run new wires from the mirror blinker connector to the wiring loom beyond where the mirror folds so I can bypass the potential break? Replacement mirrors are pretty pricey but that is also an option if I can’t fix the issue. I tow pretty long sometimes so I like having the blinker in the mirror functional.
