I just got my hands on Tremer coils and shocks. I cant find the torque specs for the top and bottom
bolts for the front and rear shocks. Does anyone have those as well as the specs for the front swaybar to frame bolts?
This thread has some front torque specs, and from what I recall, the rear shock lower spec is that same as the front lower. So that just leaves the rear upper bolt torque which is somewhere around 50 ft lb but I'll edit if I can verify that.
I've never worried about torque specs for something like shocks.
Use specific torque specs for precision machined assemblies and wheels and some other bolt together assemblies.
Shock torque specs for me falls under the grunt and fart guidelines, one grunt, two grunts, two grunts and a fart, etc.

Plenty of grunts and farts as it is.
Im obsessive about stuff like that. I even torque my lug nuts.
Recently was trying to run down a rattle in the front suspension after the truck came back from the body shop. I had replaced the stock shocks a week before the collision - and it was dry pavement, no snow and potholes. After I picked up the truck, the snow, ice and potholes were causing an annoying rattle - pavement was fine. Spent a lot of time under the truck and everything seemed snug. Couldn't find anything loose with the pry-bar.
Took it to the body shop again and they showed me it was the bottom shock attachment had the slightest movement when their big dude jumped up and down on the front bumper. Got out the torque wrench and discovered I was a fart short on the torque. Properly torqued to 111ft lbs and all is quiet.
