This is a question for those who have relocated their gas tank between the frame rails behind the rear end. Has anyone routed the filler neck behind a license door like some of the cars from the 70s? The reason I ask is I'm thinking about relocating my tank, but I don't want to cut a hole in the floor of the bed or install a door in the bedside. If you've done this what tank did you use? I'm sure I'm not the first to think about this swap. Hell maybe the bed and chassis orientation won't allow for it. Thanks Joe.
Isnt your license plate on your rear bumper? I had an old chevy nova that the plate flipped down for fuel. If you dont cut anything, the only place I could see is up in the rear wheel area. Someone here put the filler neck up in the step of the bed wall. I will look for a pic.
How about running it to where it will come out one of the taillights like "gm" did on some of their stuff. I know that you can get a kit for a 55 chevy that makes it an electric deal. I don't remember the name of the company that makes it though.

Ya there would be some fabrication to do, but if a guy could hide it I think it would be a great alternative.
