Hello-- I am trying to level my 1997 F250 460. I want to do new front leaf springs and shocks. I am wondering if I should go with a 2" or 2.5" lift leaf spring, or will a fresh new stock spring raise the front enough? I was thinking it might have just sagged over its 25 year life. Any experience swapping front leaf springs is welcomed. Thanks
New factory springs will restore the front height but it will not level the front.
These trucks were designed with a bit of a rake. If you want to level the truck, why I have no idea, you need a set of front lift springs and adjustable bushings at minimum to correct the camber/caster. Worst case are drop brackets for the axle sections as well.
