Was wondering if anyone who has installed a Bedrug kit has had any issue with getting a clean install in all corners? Got 2 friends who installed them in a 2020 and a 2021 F250 Lariat. It seems like the rug is somewhat lumpy around near the rear of the wheel wells. It is also hard to get a good fit along the top edge near the rails where the bed and the rails meet.
Both trucks are short beds.
One was installed by a dealer and one we installed.
The rug has a manufactured date of 10/2021
Maybe this is normal?
Thanks for all the responses.
We took our time and overall install looks good. The big issue, it arrived missing the Velcro strips and the zipper would not zip till we cleaned out the track of thread debris.
I had a set of bed strips and we got Velcro locally. We are pretty sure this one was returned and we ended up with it.
We had to make it work as there are no kits available. The truck was leaving on a trip so we had a time crunch.
We are trying to get a credit from Real Truck. We’ll see where this goes.
I was disappointed with it's out of box install. A few days in the sun, it seemed to un-wrinkle a bit. I was able to get mine threw the dealer using my Ford Pass points.

Yeah mine looked more like hobbie1's install at first, with some wrinkles, particularly above and behind the wheel wells. I have had it on for a little over 4 months now, and even though it's been under a tonneau the whole time, and it's been cold for the most part, the wrinkles seem to have taken up some and it seems a bit smoother now. I guess I did expect it to be a little more of a perfect fit, but I figure that while these are still specific to certain trucks, they are still somewhat universal. Overall though, I am very happy with the performance and love the way it looks... the bed just looks finished... clean! Great job on the installs!

Your Bedslide looks great - did the same on my 2018 with a Retrax Pro - my buddies 2021 that we just installed Bedrug kit on is getting a Leer setup.
mine is a little lumpy on the sides, I guess it may have been cleaner with some more pieces of strategically placed velcro. Not that big of a deal. I took a picture.
Did you cut a hole in the rug for the gooseneck connection? Do you have pics you can post?

I did have to cut 4 round holes the size of the fifth wheel pucks to make it work. sorry, no pics, and that hitch is semi-permanent now Saved the little plastic inserts to cover the holes if I do remove the hitch, and I have a rubber bed mat I can also place over the bedrug if carrying something heavy.
I have the BedTread from 2018 and it fits well. I recently tore a hole in the bottom, actual it was torn when a forklift was putting a pallet of stone in bed. But I have a new liner to put in. It a slightly different design, the sides carpet and the bottom in the is not. When I installed the original one it was cold and that did not make it easy or fun. It took warm/hot day to fit best. I had to trim a little off the top edges of the sides so it was not hitting underside of the bedrail or brackets that hold the tonneau cover rails. Other than that it fit fine. I've been happy with it. It has taken everything I threw at it (other than a corner of a pallet). Easy to clean. I'm curious how much dirt is under it from the gaps in the bed floor. And wondering if there has been any damage from it.

Here are a few pictures of my cutouts for my bedrug and Andersen hitch. The center cutout it cut on 3 sides and one side is not cut and acts like a hinge. When I mount the ball I just flip up the cutout and drop the ball in.
My truck is due to be delivered next month, so I thought I would order a bed rug since they were backordered for several weeks. FedEx showed up yesterday with the Bed Rug!
Guess I better start researching how to install and order some adhesive promoter since I have the factory spray in liner.

There are come good YouTube videos on how to install the bedrug. It’s not difficult. You will need some torx bits to remove he factory installed box link brackets and hold downs. I bought this set.
This being my first rodeo, I learned a bunch. Next time, I'm going to grab some 3M spray glue and use that instead of the velcro. Betting that will make installing easier and more like a vinyl top (see 70's muscle for reference). All that said, I'm pleased with the product.
