I haven't started Forscan on my 22 yet, but it was great on my 19. Does anyone know if Forscan (or anything for that matter) can help with keeping the side mirror lights on for more than 5mph? I'd like to have them stay on til about 15mph so I can use them more while plowing. Any ideas?
There is a no cost mod you can do but might require clipping a wire. Also, Wicked Warnings sells some options that allow use of those lights at any speed and also include a strobe module.
Anyone do the mod in the video? Does it turn off with key? I'm afraid I would forget to turn off.
The wire that is right there to tie into is hot all the time. You could run a lead to a switched wire if you're worried about it. I thought about running it to an upfitter, but just used what was there.
I did, but on sale for something like 20% off. Also, I wanted to retain the independent left and right spot light function, like stock, along with the speed override, and have the strobe functions turned on by upfitter switch. He had no problem making one custom to function as I wanted.
