Bliss System troubleshooting
Hello was trying to see what was going on with my mirror..I added bliss year ago, my mistake I got the two wires that lights up the Bliss light on the mirror crossed and after getting wiring right I get an bliss error on the drivers side....are there any ways of checking to see what I did.

Hello Jason...I went to add another light on that plastic pillar inside the door, same circuit that lights up the light in the mirror. When I did that it stopped working. not sure if the added light add a surge or shorted something out..

Sorry to hear that Chuck. You may have shorted out the module in the door like what happened before in the beginning. Mine still works great with no issues. I'm sure you can get it figured out. Take care and good luck.

Well after 2 days with the bliss not working, for some crazy reason, I did nothing and it's now working again !!! not sure if the trucks computer reset the system...
I'm not going to touch anything for awhile...

Over a year since adding BLIS, all good still no errors, trailer BLIS works great. Now just need to find time to finish adding ACC and program that last bit in the PCM

Next time if I ever order another...I think it pays to get the as many options you can afford..the money isn't as bad as the aggravation..lol
Love my truck but the only thing I hate are the running boards, always loading up with "s--t" I would replace them with the power but after market is just to much .
