After differential replaced, popping when reverse
Just replaced the rear differential. Every time I switch gear to reserve, I hear a popping sound. My foot was still on the brake when I switched the gear to reverse. There is no other noise after the popping.
The truck is 09 Escape AWD. I did take rear wheels, control arm, rear axls, shocks off in order to replaced rear differential. One of 7 the mounting bolts didn't go strait when I mount the differential. What caused this popping?
