Paint and interior

Does anyone know if there's is a VIN decoder that will tell you what the factory paint color was or what the seats were? Meaning were the seats in my X stock and I should reupholster them (because they need it) or did someone swap them. My 02' Limited has Metallic silver I think? The interior has the darker grey seat bases and Limited Leather two tone tan/grey. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not a huge fan of the combo, but willing to just live with it if it was stock and would be cheaper than outsourcing an entire new set.

The vin tag at the bottom of the B pillar on the driver side will have paint code and interior code. It's at the bottom of the pillar that the rear driver side door mounts to. If you don't have that tag or it's been painted over, try a quick google search for a vin decoder.

There is a VIN decoder here, top of the page, tools tab.
