I have a 2001 Ford F 150 that needs a steering wheel column, and I want to know what other year models of vehicles are interchangeable with mine as I am looking for a used column and need to know what year models work with the 2001? Any advice would be appreciated.

2001-03 and the leftover 2004 Heritage models of the same body style.

Your truck is equipped with PATS (anti theft), so you need a column made to accept the transceiver or you’re not going to start the truck.

(In theory, 1999-2000 should work, but they’re not coming up on the interchange website, so I wouldn’t go those years...)
