Help

I recently bought a used engine to replace mine and helped a supposed mechanic install it and it runs real rough any suggestions??? It acts like it wants to die when in gear and when in park it idles rough

You didn’t tell us anything to be able to help. Year and model of truck? What engine was in it and did you put the same displacement engine back in? What year and model did the used engine come from?
