I am going to try to remove the racks this weekend if I get a chance. If i have to I will modify the boxes I have to get them to work. The more pics the better. It would be nice if we could raise the rear seats too. Will take some pics of my truck and the removal if it happens.
I am getting a 2004 F350 CC and want to know is the stock stereo space big enough to put two decks (double DIN) or will only one fit?? I want to put a Alpine IVA-D900 deck and a navigation deck in the dash... Is this possible??

I had two decks (Eclipse flip out screen & 6 cd stack deck) in a 01 F150 and it did fit very tight though as a ford deck is like one and half din or so.

So has anyone here used the center console Stealthbox? Any opinions. Behind the seat on the 2004 is hard at best. I just ordered an Alpine CDA-7998 and Infinity Kappas for front and rear. I'm gonna need some Bass fill and the Stelthbox seams like a great solution. I just don't know how much it costs, how good it sounds, and whether or not they even have it available for 04? Any info would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks in advance!
The stealth boxes are nice and do hit pretty good, if your not looking for insanely loud bass. The big benefit of course is you don't lose an ounce of storage capacity with them.
The BAD side is they are pretty expensive, $400 and up the last time I looked. I would never buy one myself for that reason unless I had money to burn. I can by some ED subs and make my own box for a whole lot cheaper. I also bought some plans from spidervan for his box that goes in the middle of the backfloor and haven't put it together.
I'm in the process of building my custom F250 crew cab sub box for JL audio 10w0s. I don't have the subs or amp yet figured I'll wait till I get the box finished just incase demensions change (every thing always looks good on paper).
I've ordered JB Quart 6X8 speakers all the way around in the stock locations with a Pioneer 7500 head unit, Kicker 8" Solo-barik sub-woofer and amp kit. I was unable to utilize the Q-logic kick-panels for the front speakers because the parking brake would hit it.
As far as installation: I will build a box for the sub-woofer and mount it behind the rear bench seat in the middle, next to the storage rack. The amp is easy; it can be bolted down under the back seat or on a vertical panel next to the sub-woofer (which would then put it behind the passenger's side rear seat).
Shadow Hills, I have priced out the Stealthbox for the center console on our '04s and it retails for $550- pretty steep. But, I think I will still end up with one. Went back to the stereo shop and we have decided to remove the folding cargo racks under the rear split bench seat to have room to mount the amps. Removing that rack appears to give you a decent amount of room under there. I may even try to remount the racks OVER the amps after they have been installed. I may be able to pull it off with spacers.
WOW Tampa $550 is steep but if it sounds good and has a factory look then I think I'll be get'n one to. Have you actually heard one? As for the amp (s) I'm gonna mount them to the back of the rear seats. There's alot more real estate than you think and you can still stow the stock wheel gear. I just think those floor racks are too cool to remove. I'm always throwing tools and crap in the back and those will be a real treat to have.
Shadow, I have not heard one yet, but with JL's quality reputation I am sure it is fine. I would love to hear one before taking the plunge though.
As for your amp mounting- have you done it yet? I am probably getting my truck to the shop this week and would like to keep the racks myself. I wonder how good an amp rack would fit behind the seat? I guess you'd have to lose that plastic storage tray back there?
