I have an Autolite 1100 single barrel on my 64 ford econoline 170ci engine. Starts right up and idles normal but when I press on the gas pedal, it bogs down or like hesitates. If anyone else has experienced this and found the fix, I sure would appreciate what and where I need to check so that I can accelerate with no problem.
Have you tuned it up yet, timed it? Does your vacuum advance work? Do you get a squirt down the carb. when you push on the peddle without it running? Does the choke open completely? Have you checked for vacuum leaks ? All those things need to be right before you should condemn the Carb.
There is no accelerator pump on this particular A1100 and was rebuilt approx 2 yrs ago and my van did sit not running for over a year while it was in the paint/body shop. But I'll check all those other possible causes and see what I can fix. Really appreciate tips and information.

If it sat for a year, I've been having issues with the crap gas they've been selling us. You might want to open the carb up and spray gumout threw all those little passages.

Adding as much fresh gas as possible, and a mega dose of Berryman’s Chemtool will probably fix you up if it’s old gas, and will run. Add two cans of Berrymans and fill her up. Start it and run it.
