Bought a 5 layer car cover online. And it wasn't cheap.
Billed as a five layer outdoor cover with an integrated inner fleece inner liner. Below is what arrived. It looks no different to the mid-tier ones I have bought at Autozone. The grey layer is obviously the outer layer, the white layer is the inner one.
Anyhow, I've reached out to the vendor to understand the difference in counting, but still no response.
If there is something I don't get about this, I'd appreciate anyone's take. All I came up with is that perhaps a 'layer' is considered a spray on waterproofing..so spray it three times and you've got five layers. But that is pushing it in my mind.
