Is this just today's "super engineering micro-fiber" or did I just get ripped off?
Bought a 5 layer car cover online. And it wasn't cheap.
Five layers including a fleece inner liner. This is what arrived. It looks no different to the mid-tier ones I have bought at Autozone. The grey layer is obviously the outer layer, the white layer is the inner one.
Anyhow, I've reached out to the vendor to understand the difference in counting. If there is something I don't get about this, I'd appreciate anyone's take. Thanks a lot. John
OK...since no one knows, I'm open to wild guessing on your part. I'm thinking from a marketing standpoint, that it's possible a "layer" is simply a spray of waterproof coating. You do that three times, voila...you've got a five layer cover.
What's the thickest people have seen for a cover (outdoor style)? Thanks
