A quality car cover can get pricey. Under $100 your hard pressed to find anything more thena a glorified plastic tarp. I had a covercraft noah cover that retails for about $200 for my 80s cutlass that finally died on me. Had it outside year round in chicago for 7 years with zero maintenance. Dries fast, nice soft cloth, very very durable. It finally died due to some mold growing on it due to the heavy rains this year and the cloth was finally getting weak and starting to tear some. 7 Years in the weather in chicago is quite rough though. I am happy with it overall.
Went to the parts store and bought their most expensive cover and it turned out to be a glorified tarp for $85. Its a budge brand. I lost the receipt or I would have returned it. Not sure what I will do for now.
If the previous does not work out, I have one. Never used except to check the fit.
Yeah If you have one and want to sell it send me an email maddog9m@aol. I had the Noah one but it's seen better days as my EX won't fit anywhere but in the driveway because of lift. Thanks
Someone else has also expressed interest. If it doesn't work out with him, I'll let you know, if you're serious.
Send me a PM with your email addy.
Putting it back on topic, to the OP, do you plan on keeping your Ex stored outside for a long period of time, or do you hust want a cover to keep it protected from the elements when it's not driven?
If the vehicle isn't spotless, you will start getting scratches that make swirl marks look good. Also If the vehicle is parked outside subjected to high winds paint chaffing is almost a gimmie, especially clear coat. I've seen all covers do it regardless of cost or quality.
