Code P259F

2019, 47K miles - Merging into heavy traffic on a freeway and the tuck bogged down and went into limp mode. The check engine light cam on and I pulled onto to the shoulder. Shut off the engine, waited a few minutes and restarted. The check engine light stayed on an it drove fine the rest of the way home - 50 miles, with 75% of the miles being highway. Kept my eyes on my gauges and boost and temps are normal. When I got home I pulled the code

Since it seem to run fine after I shut it off and restarted, any issue in resetting the the DTC and driving the truck?

Comments and thoughts:

This is what I found:

https://www.dtcdecode.com/Ford/P259FDescription:This

DTC sets when the VGT command is greater than a calibrated value for the current amount of boost pressure for more than a calibrated amount of time.

Cause:
  • Intake air system leaks between the turbocharger and the intake manifold
  • Damaged MAP sensor
  • Turbocharger actuator is not responding
  • VGT vanes sticking
